The EPICenter

As EPIC has grown, so has our vision. Grantmaking was only the beginning. We’ve learned that while funding matters, it’s not the only need for programming to be sustainable on its own. The organizations leading our girls needed tools, training, and a network of support to truly thrive.

Sports programs need:

• Solid infrastructure and foundations
• Sustainable funding strategies
• Community connections
• Guidance for real-world challenges like trauma, mental health, and access

 

EPICenter was created in direct response to those needs. It represents the next evolution of our work — from simply funding programs to helping them grow, lead, and sustain.

How it Works

EPICenter equips our partner coaches and mentors with the tools they need to build strong, sustainable programs. By mandating regular shared learning and collaborative growth opportunities that put girls at the epicenter, we’re strengthening Omaha’s ecosystem of girls’ sports.

When we invest in the adults who pour into girls, we create a ripple effect that transforms communities. This is more than training. More than a grant. It’s a movement.
